Martha Lorin in The Great American Songbook
Martha Lorin comes from an endless list of relatives in the music business that encouraged her to make it her business as well. Starting back in 1979 with her debut at the Hungry Eye in San Franciscos North Beach. Within a year she had a Billboard nominated album entitled The Best Is Yet To Come, which was the collaboration with composer Frank Collette. Critics praises of the brilliant tone of her voice and exceptional way with lyrics soon earned her appearances in literally every major music venue, and tours of the US and abroad, working with some of the industries most famous musicians. In fact, just a few weeks ago Martha, who by the way, is a Back Stage Bistro and Billboard Award winner with 6 CDs under her belt, performed at the famed Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall.
