Competition for Emerging Professional Ensembles Finals 2017
Two outstanding under-30 professional ensembles chosen by first-round judges will perform before our audience and three distinguished judges. Among chamber music competitions, ours is the most adventuresome and attracts brillant entrants from around the world. Hear tomorrow's stars at our 32nd annual chamber music competition concert!
We urge you to be in your seats by 7:15. Promptly at 7:20, we sell unoccupied seats at the door.
At 6:45, Wright State University Professor Charles Larkowski, a noted authority on repertoire and an engaging speaker, will discuss the music to be performed that evening. The free lectures are given in the performance space, so concert-goers may choose their seats for the evening.
Online ticket sales end 24 hours before the event, however tickets have always been available at the door. We always have good attendance, but have never fully sold out the space.
