JUSTINA SHANDLER takes the stage in her hometown of Roanoke, Virginia Friday, July 29th!
Shandler, who now lives in Miami, Florida, is a singer-songwriter and composer for media. Her songs have been described as the "music-baby" of Regina Spektor and Billy Joel. Her musical stories are deeply honest, vivid, and quirky.
Shandler has worked with songwriters Craig Carothers, Jon Lind, Lari White and Craig Carnelia, and with film composers Chris Boardman, Jay Vincent and Chuck Henry. She's performed her original songs at Lincoln Center and Rockwood Music Hall in New York (with members of Sara Bareilles' band), at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN, and at various comedy clubs in Los Angeles. From winning international songwriting competitions to writing music for iPhone apps, Shandler's music has no boundaries.
