Chef Johanna Ware's BIG smallwares Portland Food Adventure
The Portland food world is buzzing about smallwares. Michael Russel of The Oregonian wrote a glowing review of this new NE Fremont landmark, in which he stated: "Smallwares is the restaurant I've been hoping would open in Portland for some time. "
And now Portland Food Adventures brings you the consummate smallwares/barwares culinary experience! Chef Johanna will be preparing and serving special dishes not found on the smallwares menu, along with some smallwares favorites.
The event will feature cocktails, sake and wine from barwares, the happening bar adjacent to smallwares.
Johanna had the opportunity to cook for the first ever Portland Food Adventures dinner at Cathy Whims' Nostrana in September of 2010, so we are excited to create her own adventure in her new, fantastic place, smallwares. SIX+ COURSES, WINE/DRINKS AND TIP ARE INCLUDED...

Chef Johanna will interact with diners and share her thoughts about opening smallwares and barwares, the cuisine, and the places she loves in Portland. Guests will leave with both the knowledge of these wonderful spots and gift certificates to try them. For this adventure, Johanna has recommended Salt & Straw, Random Order Coffee House and Bakery, Bunk Bar and her own barwares!

IMPORTANT: Please read before buying tickets. We respectfully request that guests REFRAIN FROM SMOKING DURING THE EVENT (this means getting up during the dinner and going outside to smoke, and returning), as this is a communal dining experience. Portland Food Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who smokes or acts in an inappropriate manner. No refund will be given, since the restaurant will have planned the meal for a particular number of guests. Since this is a communal dining experience we ask you to be respectful of other guests and restaurant employees in every respect. There may be expiration dates for your certificates. Tickets are non-refundable, but buyers may call 503 208 4290 to change the name of the reservation at will-call up 24 hours before the event, if for whatever reason you choose to give the ticket to someone else.
By coming to this event, unless you request otherwise in writing, you acknowledge that there will be Portland Food Adventures photographers at the event, and the use of your image in blogs or for any reasons is authorized by you. Please inform any guests for whom you are buying tickets.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If the restaurant is open on the night of the event, the event goes on. Refunds or credits for a future events will be issued within a week after the event, only if the restaurant is closed on the night of the event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
