The Thunderballs
The Thunderballs are a roots reggae band featuring NL Dennis, one of Jamaica's finest singer songwriters. Dennis (as he likes to be called) is a staple of the western Jamaica music scene.
Appearing in New England for his second season, Dennis sings his catchy, uptempo reggae songs like nobody else, though his vocal style is often compared to iconic reggae vocalists Jimmy Cliff and Toots Hibbert.
Accompanying himself on rock-solid rhythm guitar, Dennis is backed a top-notch ensemble of Brattleboro (Vermont)-area musicians, including Joel Eisenkramer on bass and backing vocal, and Peter Eisenkramer, bandleader, arranger and keyboard player.
The Thunderballs deliver a show full of original and classic reggae tunes, played in a lively danceable classic reggae style.
