RICH ROBINSON and FRIENDS at WOODSTOCK SESSIONS

Woodstock Sessions is honored to announce the return of Rich Robinson and Friends to Applehead Recording & Production in Woodstock, New York on August 19, 20 and 21 for three unforgettable concert/recording events. Robinson is returning for his second Woodstock Sessions. The first in 2014 yielded the critically acclaimed album Rich Robinson: Woodstock Sessions (Eagle Rock/Universal Music).

Robinson's return will see the celebrated guitarist and his band joined by a host of special guests including fellow Black Crowes alumni Marc Ford and Sven Pipien. Other very special guests will be announced.

These special performances are held at Applehead Studios, a boutique recording studio situated on a beautiful 17 acre farm just outside the town center of Woodstock, NY. The audience is seated before the band inside this state of the art recording studio--creating a unique, intimate environment for fans unlike any other concert experience. Each day will feature 2 separate sets of live performances as well as dinner and audience interaction led by Rich Robinson himself.

On Sunday, August 21, there will be a discussion/seminar moderated by guitarist/journalist Andy Aledort of Guitar World. Aledort will guide Robinson through his 25 year career as the co-founder of the Black Crowes and now a successful solo artist whose new album Flux (Eagle Rock/Universal) is available on June 24. Rich will demonstrate and discuss topics ranging from his early musical influences and evolution as a songwriter, use of alternate guitar tunings,tone shaping, gear and the crafting of such legendary Black Crowes signature songs "She Talks To Angels" and "Remedy" and many more.

All attendees will receive 180 gram, audiophile vinyl pressing of the Woodstock Sessions release as well as an event t-shirt, dinner, event poster (based on an original painting by Robinson himself) and all digital media produced as a result of the days' events.
