Rochester Oratorio Society presents International vocal competition
Thrilling performances of vocal artistry mark careers in the making as ten international competitors demonstrate the expressive power of the human voice through polished renditions of the most moving classics of opera, art song, and oratorio. Distinguished judges offer constructive commentary in real-time. Enjoy elegant refreshments in a cabaret setting, then vote for the Audience Favorite!
The evening begins at 7:00 PM with a Wine and Cheese Tasting where you can participate in the Silent Auction. Host Julia Figueras (WXXI Classical 91.5 FM) will then take the stage at 7:30 PM as the competition commences. Elegant desserts will be served at intermission, along with brewed coffee and tea. At the conclusion of the evening, vote for your favorite contestant before the winners are announced.
