Whale Meat Again
"Whales and dolphins strand all around Scotland's coastline, including East Lothian and the Firth of Forth, and frequently die as a result. Detailed investigation of these event helps us understand why this happens and what role, if any, humans may have. Come and find out how we do this and what we have found.
A talk by Dr Mark Dagleish BVM&S, PhD, MRCVS, FRCPath
Head of Pathology at the Moredun Research Institute and a Special Lecturer in Veterinary Pathology at Nottingham University, in 2014 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists.
Diseases of wildlife, especially marine mammals, are a research focus and he has studied basking sharks and marine turtles stranded in Scottish coastal waters."
