Flamenco Boise! Sevillanas Flamenco Dance Workshop
El Verano Summertime Let's Celebrate!
Every town in Andalusia, the southern region of Spain, is celebrating the arrival of warm weather with La Feria. La Feria, (the Fair) has many aspects that are similar to our yearly fair. Carnaval rides, great food, and music but there is one thing that all of the fairs in Spain have that we do not have here in Idaho. SEVILLANAS! A traditional Andalusian folk style of Flamenco that can be danced alone, in pairs or even in a circle amongst friends!
In this class we will gain learning steps that mark the beat of the Flamenco rhythm. How to move our arms gracefully, center of gravity for slow turns, footsteps. Slowly building up to a short choreography that can be dance alone or as partners
You do not need a partner to join this class. No prior dance experience required
Ishi of Escuela de Ritmo is offering a very special 4 week inspired session called
Viva La Feria de Boise!
When: Wednesdays July 20- Aug 10th
Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Weather permitting we will be dancing outside on the studio patio in true celebration of El Verano (Summertime)
