Mise was originally incarnated as the solo project of singer-songwriter Cooper L. Trail. Performing in small venues around north Idaho and Washington, Trail developed an ear for storytelling and, where dynamics and emotion are concerned, developed a rollercoaster-style performance. Not two EPs later, the show went on the road and multi-instrumentalist Nevada Sowle hopped aboard, adding a new element not only to the genre, but to the energy and excitement of the live performance. Generally found tromping the coastal and inland West, Mise regularly play a range of venues from rock clubs to house shows with swelling sounds falling somewhere between psych rock and fuzz folk.

Julianne Wurden has loved music since her Grandma taught her basics on the piano at a young age. A Seattle native who started writing music in September, she enjoys the happiness music can bring when it is shared between friends, family, and anyone else who has a passion for music. After studying French and History, she gains inspiration from thinking about time and nostalgia, and the beauty that can be found in lifes experiences. We all choose how to spend time as it flies by, and for Julianne playing and listening to music are some of the best ways to make these passing moments memorable.
