The Ukestra Plays The Beatles
The Ukestra is a collaborative adult ukulele playing and singing group, formed in 2011 by guitarist and educator Mike Loce. They make their CCA debut playing the music of The Beatles. A perfect afternoon for all ages.
The Ukestra started as a monthly workshop for those interested in this instrument, with no pressure to adhere to any musical tradition. It evolved into a performing group also, and then found regional success starting in the Nashua area, with many press coverage items, and a featured TV spot on NH Chronicle in 2012. The ukulele is the common bond between the members, and the group caters from beginner to advanced player to partake in the enjoyment.
