STORYTELLERS BRAD LAWRENCE Brad was the first storyteller to win back-to back Moth GrandSLAMS and regularly performs on the Moth MainSTAGE, mostly clothed. He has performed and co-produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, South By Southwest Interactive, and in conjunction with WBUR, USA Network, and Grants Whiskey. He has recently launched a podcast and is just back from the Minnesota Fringe Festival where he performed his critically-acclaimed one-man show The Gospel of Sherilyn Fenn.
NEIL GENZLINGER Neil is the television, theater and film critic at the New York Times. But in his other life, he's won a few Moth Slams as a funny and soulful storyteller. His sweet funny tales won over the Out by 10 crowds last december and he's back for more.
KATE GREATHEAD Kate's wry observations about life and love have made her an eight-time Moth Slam Champion. Her work has been featured in The New Yorker, the New York Times, on NPRs Moth Story Hour, and her first novel will be put any day now from Simon & Schuster. Kate is also one of the subjects of Michael Apteds TV show, Up Series in America.
MUSICIAN CASSANDRA KUBINSKI "Cassandra Kubinski proves that the genre (of singer/songwriter) can still be transcendent." -- Billy Joel
Cassandra's smart & sexy singing and songwriting, with lyrics that dig into love, regret, and healing with wry humor, has won her praise from the likes of Billy Joel:
She's opened for stars like The Goo Goo Dolls, 10,000 Maniacs, Anna Nalick, Nelson, and Dickie Betts. And you can hear her songs on Lifetimes Dance Moms ABC, NBC, Bravo, MTV and her voice on commercials for Snickers, Plenti, Homegoods, Kohls, Maybelline, and more. She has a new album due out in fall, and her last song release, Not So Different, has become an anthem for Autism.
