Dancer/Choreographer Helen Hansen French and Poet/Founder of Keep St. Pete Lit Maureen McDole present a morning of exploration, writing, discussion and performance on the the topic of "Artist-Mothers" and what it means to balance motherhood and creativity.
Participants will be led by Maureen McDole in a writing exploration of motherhood and creativity, have an opportunity to share their work, as well as see a sneak peak of Helen Hansen French's latest solo focusing on motherhood and creativity.
This event is FREE and open to all artist-mothers, but space is limited.
This workshop is held in conjunction with Helen Hansen French's "Motherhood Film Project" a dance film incorporating artist-mothers from across all disciplines, drawing on our personal experiences and highlighting our creative work and its relationship to our families.
