The Newman Institute for Skillbuilding Denim & Diamonds Affair
A benefit dinner and auction to raise funds to support the educational initiatives of The Newman Institute for Skillbuilding, Inc.(NIFS), which is a non-profit agency established in 2010 by Sherman and Paula Newman, to provide educational services that includes one-on-one coaching, workshops, seminars, conferences, workbooks, DVDs, webinars, podcasts, etc. with the purpose of helping young adults develop and/or improve the soft skills needed for workplace and family life success.
The event will begin with cocktails and live jazz by recording artist, Dee Lucas, at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. There will be a silent auction and throughout the evening guests will have opportunities to win raffle prizes.
After the benefit dinner and auction there will be a 50th birthday celebration for NIFS Founder/CEO, Paula Sanders Newman, which will include dancing to 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000 music played by DJ Ivan Holloway.
