Malas and Microphones: From The Stage To The Mat and Back Again
Kristyn Chalker has been performing her entire life, and for the last four and a half years, she's been doing it in Los Angeles. Gravitating more towards classical theatre, some of her favorite roles have included Nina in The Seagull, Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, Anya in The Cherry Orchard, and Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire. After taking a brief performing hiatus to become a full time yoga instructor, Kristyn is thrilled to be getting back on the stage and screen. Check out her website: www.kristynchalker.com
Tyler Scheef returns to Sterlings Upstairs at The Federal after performing 3 years ago in his cabaret Slightly Awkward. Tyler's been performing since he was a kid and loves being on the stage. Favorite roles include Dickon in Secret Garden, Man 1 in Edges, Brad in Rocky Horror Show, Judas in Godspell. He was last seen on stage as Blaine in the smash hit Cruel Intentions: The Musical at The Rockwell. After a summer performing at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre for a Summer, Tyler decided to take a break from performing and sign up for Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga. And his life was forever changed! When Tyler is not on the stage, he is busy managing the CorePower Yoga Encino studio! @tylerscheef
