Upstage and Studio Bob present award winning Segovia-trained guitarist/composer Andre Feriante on Saturday eve June 18th, in Port Angeles. In 1979, Andre introduced his sensual and contemporary sound to traditional genres. He's performed for over 30 years in Europe, South America, and the United States. His creative blend of classical, flamenco and Brazilian styles speaks to people from all walks of life. His forays in Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Americana are legendary.
In recent years, Andre has garnered rave reviews applying his innovative guitar mastery to many instruments, including the ukulele and nylon-stringed banjo. His concerts take you on an inspiring musical journey with original music, flamenco, classical and jazz standards, vocals in Italian, and poetry over guitar. He's well known for stunning virtuosity, passion, and ability to connect with his audience on a deep emotional level.
Andre's released 13 solo recordings. The latest two are Novella, Ukulele Mosaique and Beatles Masquerade. He hopes the passionate and sometimes meditative qualities in his songs will inspire listeners to see our similarities as humans, creating more peace and ease in our world.
