Three Cane Whale: live at the Old Barn, Kelston
Three Cane Whale play the Old Barn on Kelston Roundhill Thursday 7 July 2016. The live gig will be recorded for Kelston Records.
Join us for a short walk up the Roundhill, poetry, a meal (optional) and refreshments. A team from Bath Spa Uni will live record the performance by multi-instrumentalists Alex Vann, Pete Judge and Paul Bradley.
Three Cane Whale's music appeals to a spectrum from Radio 3 to Radio 6 music fans, and draws on a deep love of place and location. Come and share an evening with them as they connect with and reflect the spirit of Kelston Roundhill.
It's also the launch event for Kelston Records, a new Bath-based indie label working with musicians whose work is about environment and ecology.
Ticket price is £10 (under 12s free).
Meal is £15 (must book in advance; strictly limited to 80 places). Meal includes starter of local cheese from Bath Soft Cheese company, Somerset charcuterie and a dish specially prepared by local chef. Please state if you're vegetarian or have other special dietary needs.
Online booking fee applies. There will be a cash bar on the night.
If available additional tickets can be purchased on the door on the night for £14 (cash only).
