Barra To Bengal
Barra to Bengal / The Fusioneers: A Scottish-Indian cultural musical telling the story of two people from opposite ends of the globe as one travels the globe finding friendship with the other, through the collaboration of five musicians (Suchandra Kar, Shelagh McKay Jones, Hardeep Deerhe, Pauline Vallance and Emma Durkan). Its purpose is to demonstrate that people, although from different cultures, are basically the same with the same need for self-expression, to love and be loved, that we can always find ways to understand each other, to work together ultimately to produce something beautiful which is understood by everyone.
