A MUSLIM IN THE MIDST - by Anand Rao - THESPIS THEATER FESTIVAL 2016
3 days after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on NYC, a poor Muslim family is stranded late in the night on a street in India. An affluent Hindu couple, executives of American companies, offers to help. The conversation takes an unexpected turn as the two worlds collide. Despite the obvious ideological differences, they discover a common fellowship based on humanity.
