Wayne Abravanel in My Life On Broadway Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Palm Desert
Wayne Abravanel will play the music and sing the songs, along with personal stories, from many of the Broadway shows he either played in or conducted orchestras for during his many years in New York City as well as those he traveled with in national tours. A few of the shows include The Whos Tommy, Sunset Boulevard, Chicago, Cabaret, Jekyll and Hyde, West Side Story and 42nd Street. He has also musical directed shows for Hal Linden, Leslie Uggams, Michelle Lee, Elaine Page, Jane Olivor, Roslyn Kind, Kaye Ballard, Donna Theodore, Derrik Lewis Musical Chairs, Palm Springs Follies, Indian Wells Symphony and Sun Citys Performing Arts Club. Wayne may also be seen on Saturday evenings playing for Les Michaels Cabaret On The Green Open Mic at AJs at Date Palm Country Club.
