Josh Kaplan has been a part of the Twin Cities performing arts community for most of his life. He has performed as an improv actor or behind a drum kit in a variety of different musical projects (Van Stee, School For Girls, Adam Levy). Give The Drummer Some is a night to celebrate both passions.
Act I is a set of improv comedy with actors hand-picked from Minneapoliss daring improv community. Act II is a set of improvised music with very special guest, deVon Gray (also known as dVRG). You have no doubt heard deVons contributions to a seemingly never ending list of local and national favorites such as Chastity Brown, Brother Ali, Heiruspecs, And The Professors, The Cloak Ox, and more. Act III takes everything to the next level by blending the performers from Acts I and II. To make things extra interesting, none of the performers perform together in an improv group or band, so you know the improv is fresh.
Join Josh for a night of adventure, danger and hilarious fun.
