Berkeley High School Dance Production 2016 presents: DP's Guide To Life
It's our last show of the year!
Come out and show your support.
This semester, the Dance Production class has had the good fortune to work with two amazing guest choreographers. Nick Van Eyck has created a kaleidoscopic Cuban Salsa piece, and Bianca Cabrera has brought out in the dancers her particularly fierce style of moving with 360 degrees of physical possibilities. It's beauty to behold.
The second half of the show features a student choreographed "Guide to Life". We've got advice on how to trust your instincts, manage expectations, find inner-beauty and manage change. And thrown in the mix is a dancerly interpretation of The Purge -- a 2013 pulp horror film -- with ballerinas, krumpers and voguers all battling it out.
This show has some mature themes, but is appropriate for older kids and anyone else who's open to being inspired by these fantastic movers.
Bring neighbors and friends. Help us fill the house and celebrate the end of the school year!
