Lisa Downing CD Release Concert and Reception
Come celebrate the release of 2 x Emmy Award Nominee Lisa Downing's newest CD "The Wisdom Of My Shadow." Lisa will entertain with music and stories of the inspiration behind her songs. After the concert, stay and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine. (Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.)
Lisa's music has been compared to George Winston, Liz Story, Jon Schmidt, David Lanz, or Peter Kater.
The Wisdom Of My Shadow" is a sampling of Lisa's powerful and intricately sophisticated musical reflections upon feminine power and the shadow-self within us all. Lisa's musical creations paint a vastly imaginative landscape of powerful and mysterious energies drawn from her seemingly inexhaustible palate of musical creation.
