Step into the magical world of Disney with Beauty and the Beast Jr., where young actors take on the roles made famous by the animated movie. As you take your seat at Camas High School Theatre, you and your family will be transported to the heart of a quaint French town, where the smart and beautiful Belle yearns for something more than her provincial life. When her father gets lost in the woods, he seeks shelter in an old castle, but is soon taken captive by the master of the house -- a horrible Beast. Belle surrenders her freedom to save her father's life and, by taming the Beast, teaches him the meaning of love. Featuring original music by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, the enchanting Beauty and the Beast Jr. is perfect for the young and the young-at-heart alike.
