THRIVE - Sleeping Beauty
THRIVE Dance Studio's Ballet Performance - Sleeping Beauty is the culmination of this season, created for THRIVE dancers by leading instructors and choreographers.
Generation after generation, Sleeping Beauty, based on a 17th-century story by Charles Perrault, retains it's extraordinary power to speak to the imagination. Sleeping Beauty was originally staged by Marius Petipa as one long celebration full of unexpected, enthralling variations. Restaged by Thrive's own talented choreographers with a unique blend of the Disney and Petipa versions to challenge and showcase progressing skills, expect entertaining, skillful performances in Classical Ballet.
