The Starkloff Disability Institute will be hosting Party To The Max on Friday, September 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel. The theme is Game Changers as we celebrate some special people who have helped change the game in the ways we are able to welcome people with disabilities in our world. The 2016 Paralympic Games form the ideal backdrop for Bob Costas to serve as our Honorary Chair; and for us to welcome special guest, John F. Register, a Paralympic medalist and inspirational speaker. This memorable evening will also honor, longtime friend and supporter, Dr. William H. Danforth, with the Max Starkloff Lifetime Achievement Award.

Most importantly, this fundraiser will provide a great opportunity to showcase the important work of our institute and our corporate partners in improving employment opportunities for disabled individuals in our region. Our main program called, The Next Big Step, is making a real difference for an ever-growing number of people and companies. 80% of our individuals served by The Next Big Step are getting jobs. That is a huge success considering recent data shows 79.2% of people with disabilities are out of the work force entirely.
