Echotape, Purple Heart Parade and Morrissey & Marshall

Echotape

Echotape is an indie-rock band from Wallop, Hampshire, UK.

The band refer to themselves as "the DIY band".
Drummer Mike Burford explained "We realised we were going to have to do everything ourselves because we were not going to get straight away the major label backing and financial help".

After obtaining a grassroots following and much acclaim through their raucous live shows, the band attracted the attention of Killing Joke bassist and producer Martin Glover (Youth). Glover invited the band to his studio in Spain, where he produced their debut album, Collective in 2013. Their debut single, "Unstable" was a top 200 hit on US college radio.
The band have a strong DIY ethic, and produce their own videos, releasing them on YouTube, and photos on Instagram.
The band have since toured the UK and Ireland, including an appearance at the Blissfields Festival in Winchester.
On July 29 they are releasing their new album 'Wicked Way' through the wonderful IRL, and we are delighted they will be showcasing a lot of the album for you lucky people!

Purple Heart Parade

Manchesters burgeoning post-industrial bubble was the starry embryonic sac for PURPLE HEART PARADE to spawn their shoegaze fantasies, with Louder Than War dubbing them a band destined for the stars and The NME professing admiration for their squalid feedback, whilst publications such as Metro and broadcasters like the BBC have all been purring at the Mancunian cosmic waves.
The bands performances are also gaining interest from highly esteemed peers, with noted admirers of the band including the likes of Nick McCabe, Mark Gardener, Simone Butler (Primal Scream) and Sean Lennon to name but a few.

If anything, 2015 saw the bands meteoric rise accelerate with even greater velocity. Following on from supporting the likes of Swervedriver and building a huge fanbase outside of Manchester, notably in London and overseas in Portugal, Spain and Mexico, the band have also been included on the bill for Kendal Calling, Secret Garden Party and Reverence Festivals which features the likes of The Horrors. In 2016 there was the inclusion on the stellar bill at Manchesters Cosmosis festival including the likes of Brian Jonestown Massacre, Jesus and Mary Chain and Sleaford Mods..

What they say.
Single Painting Pictures is a swirling vortex of pounding drums and steely vocals that gives way to a melodic, trance-inducing rift.   NME

If youre a fan of psych / shoegaze then check them out. One of the best new bands out there  OX4 Sound

Purple Heart Parade are not the first band this year to show a talent for psych/shoegaze atmospherics, but theyre surely the best at delivering it with stately grace and majesty  Metro

Purple Heart Parade are on a major upward trajectory at the moment. New songs that build on the already impressive foundations, a line-up that feels and looks settled and a ever-growing fanbase both in Manchester and further afield. Exciting times lie ahead.  Even the Stars

Morrissey & Marshall

When Greg Marshall decided to climb, uninvited, upon the stage already occupied by Darren Morrissey, and his (former) band to accompany him, the ensuing combination of two vocals created the magical moment.namely the birth of Morrissey and Marshall. They have been writing and performing together ever since.

Weve come to expect plenty of upbeat folk n roll from this Dublin duo that are causing a big stir on the Irish scene. Their irresistible harmonies draw comparisons with The Everly Brothers or Simon and Garfunkel with an Irish twist! Debut album is out now!

This night will be an extra special gig with the duo performing with a full band  dont miss it!
