Dear Friends,
On Sunday, June 19th, at 6:30 PM we return to Micheltorena Street. The evening begins with divine views of the city, punch, and a small bite. A salad of peaches, zucchini blossoms, tomatoes, queso fresco, and the Andean mint, huacatay follows. Next, inchicapi makes its de Porres debut. An Amazonian peanut and yucca stew, Pablos will feature Santa Barbara ridgeback prawns, with additional flavor coming from ginger and turmeric. For the main course: tacu tacu con bistec. Tacu tacu is a popular Peruvian pancake of refried beans and rice. Ours will be accompanied by grilled steak and topped with a quail egg. Well close with a very Southern cherry cobbler and vanilla ice cream.
