Psyence
Combining the kind of ear-mangling riffs of Tame Impala and The Black Angels with effects-heavy swirling backing and mesmerising vocals, Psyence effortlessly hark back to the 60s psychedelic rock wellspring and to an entirely original adolescent search for something beyond the tame sponsored-alternative current music scene.
Tracks like Zebra and Chemicals for Breakfast showcase a band already confident far beyond their short lifespan in creating fully realised psychedelic anthems. Added to this, a powerful and transcendent live show burns their collection of songs firmly into the brain whilst handily frying it at the same time.

thelightshines are ten hands bringing you shimmering jangles, sunshine harmonies, guitars, sitars and half-remembered memories.
Formed from a solo project of the same name, thelightshines released their first single in November 2012 on the legendary Great Pop Supplement label. Released to critical acclaim, and quickly selling out, the Soul to Skin / Love, The Amnesiac single offered a glimpse into the band's lush melodic orientation.
The band spent the following year in the studio, recording their debut album Now The Sandman Sings. A celebratory record, Now The Sandman Sings weaves a symphonic tapestry with influences taken from west coast pop, the paisley underground scene, melancholia, psychedelia, the blues, Indian classical music and folk.
The album was released via The Great Pop Supplement on limited edition split blue and clear vinyl in November 2014 and sold out within 48 hours.

Suns of Rest
We are thrilled to bring Coventry's Suns of Rest back to play for us! This 4 piece have been making glorious music in some of our favourite bands for years, and got together to form Suns of Rest in 2012, bringing their own take on psychedelic indie rock of the very highest quality!
And if all this wasn't enough, we have Northern Star Records on the decks for the night, filling the gaps before, between and after the bands!
