Asphalt Socialites are not your typical garage cover band but rather a group of young established professionals attempting to find the same success they've achieved in business in the local music scene. Architectural design, real estate, property management and law enforcement are not the typical fields in which one would think to harvest new musical talent, yet the collaboration of these five band members proves achievement in one field can spill over into another. Their CD, a mix of five original tracks released last month, and a growing fan base in the Reno/Sparks area placed them fourth on ReverbNation's alternative band list and they're climbing.
