The KZYX Bastille Day Boogie

KZYX is pleased to announce that its annual summer fundraiser is The Bastille Day Boogie featuring rockin' down home music paired with the best of the Louisiana-region's cuisine. The food-and-fun event for all ages will be held Saturday, July 14th at The Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville, on Highway 128 (between Route 253 and Mountain View Road). Tickets are available now at Brown Paper Tickets, and on Friday June 22 ticvkets will also be available at Dig Music in Ukiah, Tangents in Fort Bragg, All That Good Stuff and Laughing Dog Books in Boonville, Gallery Bookshop in Mendocino, and Four-Eyed Frog Books in Gualala. Doors open at 3:00pm. Advance tickets are $10. Music for dancing and listening will be rhythmic and authentic, with the rootsy style of Contino, plus local favorites the Shaky Jake Blues Band featuring Ragtime Rick. The food will reflect flavors of Louisiana and is priced for anyone's budget. There will be a no-host bar. Admission is free for kids 12 and under when accompanied by adults. No dogs and no coolers allowed.
