Into the Woods
Anderson High School's Little Theatre Company presents, "Into the Woods", arguably one of Sondheim's greatest works. It sheds realistic light on our favorite childhood fairytale characters and explores what happens after the happily ever afters. What if Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk are driven by the same motives and flaws as the rest of us? What if their stories overlap? What if these characters have to band together to defend their happily ever afters? "Into the Woods" answers these questions and more. The musical has hysterical moments mixed with moving messages that has proven to be a favorite of American audiences since it first premiered in 1986. Act I is suitable for all audiences, and Act II is suitable for ages 12 and up.
