25th Annual Highlights from Handel's Messiah
The Silver Anniversary twenty-fifth annual performance of Highlights from Handel's Messiah will be presented December 1 at 6:30 p.m. at South Mountain Community College.
Under the direction of Dr. Jerome Garrison, SMCC Music Faculty Chair, more than 60 vocalists and 25 instrumentalists participate each year in this award-winning performance, comprising the Community Concert Choir and Orchestra. Area students, workers, retirees, teenagers, great-grandmothers and college employees all join together for the opportunity to perform one of the most moving musical pieces of all time.
