Bourbon Barrel-Aged Monsters' Park Variants Release Party
We just bottled some astronomically delicious bourbon barrel-aged Monsters' Park, and we cannot wait to share it with you. We have put extraordinary amounts of care and obsessive fine-tuning into these beers, and the result is our most mind-bendingly tasty batch of barrel-aged imperial stout to date. We have 3 different variants up for grabs, each with its own unique, insanely delicious steez. Prepare for enchantment.
We'll be having a casual bottle pick-up party on Thursday, May 26th at the Lomaland Fermentorium beginning at 12pm, so come by, grab your bottles, and partake in the good vibes! Details below:
MONSTERS' PARK AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS
This is our hulking, cantankerous stout, aged in fragrant, oaky bourbon barrels. The barrel character is immediately evident on the nose and only grows more intense in the flavor. Notes of vanilla, caramel, and molasses meld with the huge roast character of Monsters' Park to create a veritable superhero of flavors (like earth, fire, wind, water, and heart even).

Big, thunderous notes of coffee, oak, & bourbon add a crazy dimension to this sledgehammer of sabor, combining with the massive roastiness of Monsters' Park to create a wildly complex and delicious beer.

BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Starting Thursday, 5/19/2016 at 10am for League members and Monday, 5/23/2016 at 10am for the general public, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 8 22oz. bottles of Monsters' Park Aged in Bourbon Barrels, 4 22oz. bottles of Monsters' Park Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coffee, and 4 22oz. bottles of Monsters' Park Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coconut and Cocoa Nibs. The general public will be able to pick-up bottles at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during the period from 12pm on Thursday, 5/26/2016, until 10pm on Thursday, 7/21/2016. League members will have until 10pm on Thursday, 8/18/2016 to pick up their bottles. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit, nor the pick-up window and PROXIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. You cannot pick-up your bottles at the North Park Flavordome. **Any bottles not retrieved by Thursday, 7/21/2016 (Thursday, 8/18/2016 for League members) will be surrendered back to the brewery (NO exceptions).** Please read the additional details below for further information on proxies and bottle pickup names.
RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on 5/26/2016 at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room starting at 12pm. This will be the easiest and most fun day to pick-up your bottles. We will have some cool stuff on-tap, and it'll be a damn good time. If you've been meaning to visit us to buy some of our super rad glassware, a couple bags of our awesome house roasted coffee, and a shirt or two, this is the time to do it.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
In order to pick-up your bottles, you will need to show your valid photo ID; it must be your ID and the name MUST match the name on the credit card of the ticket buyer (i.e. only you can pick up your bottles; no proxies). Any sales that attempt to work around the bottle limit will be voided. Only purchase bottles if you are 100% positive you can personally pick-up your bottles within the pick-up window; any bottles not picked up before Thursday, 7/21/2016 (Thursday, 8/18/2016 for League members) will be surrendered back to Modern Times Beer.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.
SHIPPING:
We will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during regular tasting room hours between 12pm on 5/26/2016 and 10pm on Thursday, 7/21/2016 (Thursday, 8/18/2016 for League members).
