ASME STS - June 23, 2016 - Mid-Career Networking Seminar
Join ASME South Texas in cooperation with the Petroleum Division for an informative evening of networking. We have designed a seminar to help you become better at networking and develop the skills needed to help find your next job.
The Oil & Gas Industry is going through one of the most transformative periods in its history. Companies have been cutting or postponing capital projects, and more than 200,000 employees have been or will be let go, when aggregating all the announcements.
If you have been or are in jeopardy of being laid off, this seminar will help you become more strategic in your networking. We are lining up experts to help you understand how to build your network, develop a LinkedIn profile to get you noticed, and update your resume to make you competitive in today's job market.
Each $10 ticket includes two drinks (beer, wine or soda) and heavy hors d'oeuvres. We will also have a professional photographer on site to update your LinkedIn profile picture. This event is limited to 80 attendees. It is designed for mid-career ASME members who have been laid off, but all ASME members and former members are welcome to attend.
