a benefit performance to support
the Recovery Education Campaign Film Project
Singer/songwriter and piano player John McAndrew takes us on a musical journey from self-centeredness to humility, using stories and songs.
John's music touches the heart, and then opens our eye's
and minds to the possibility's in recovery.
General Admission $20 or $25 at the door
VIP tickets for Premier Seating, Meet and Greet with photo session with John McAndrew $45 each or a couple for $80.
John McAndrews spiritually charged, powerful recovery based music has been heard on Broadway and around the world at recovery conferences and national events including the International A.A. Convention closing ceremonies; 50th Anniversary of NATO at the Vice Presidents Residence; the NAADAC National Recovery Conference in Washington D.C.;the Betty Ford Center; Hazelden's 25th Anniversary, and Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua West Indies. John is the recipient of the NAADAC National Presidents Award for Service in Recovery.
The evening will be hosted by Event Producer Markey Ford
and features a special guest appearance by "Bill W." (actor Gary Kimble) from the national tour of "PASS IT ON...AN EVENING WITH BILL W. & DR. BOB"
Proceeds will benefit the Recovery Education Campaign Film Project and help to complete Northern Light Production's landmark documentary "ONE DAY AT A TIME - the History, Hope and Healing of 12 Step Recovery" slated for world wide broadcast through PBS and the BBC - carrying the message of recovery to over 600 million viewers - reaching people who cannot be reached in any other way.
**Of Note: After the film's initial broadcast - it will be packaged together with educational materials created by Hazelden Publishing and made available to prisons, military installations, treatment centers and all public schools in the United States and Canada.
Through internet and multi media platforms students around the globe will have access to the complete story of America's Greatest Gift to the World: 12 Step Recovery and Alanon.
