A WHOLE NEW WORLD - Presented by Marin Summer Theater
Marin Summer Theater is very pleased to present the world premiere of a new musical review, A WHOLE NEW WORLD: The Magic of Alan Menken.
MST has received special permission from Walt Disney Music to present a musical review of Mr. Menken's best work. In a career spanning over four decades, Alan Menken has written the music monster hit musicals and films like Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Enchanted, Sister Act, Tangled and Leap of Faith. Mr. Menken has won eight Academy Awards, seven Golden Globes, eleven Grammies, a Tony and a Drama Desk Award.
Returning to direct A WHOLE NEW WORLD are be Kate Kenyon and Amanda Morando, the dynamic team that directed the 2015 MST production of Defying Gravity.
The cast for A WHOLE NEW WORLD includes students from MST's 2016 Musical Theater Madness Workshop and MST company special guests.
