Women On the Way Festival Benefit Performance/Party
Footloose presents the Women on the Way Festival, produced by Artistic Director, Mary Alice Fry, Thursdays through Sundays, January 10-27, 2008, at two intimate venues: THE GARAGE in San Francisco's South of Market District and the Footloose home base, SHOTWELL STUDIOS located at 3252-A 19th Street,(Folsom/So. Van Ness) in San Francisco's Mission District. Onstage at SHOTWELL STUDIOS will be nine different shows ranging in size and content with mixed-media, theater and dance performances in a rotating format. SHOTWELL STUDIOS will be the scene for the gala opening performance party on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 8:00 pm until midnight with silent auction, sumptuous international food and drink. The festivities feature performances, pre-show and party ambience by a stellar lineup of guest artists including Sarah Bush Dance Project, Joshua Klipp, Circus Finelli, Katie Rubin, Alicia Dattner, Mary Ann Boyd, Amara Tabor-Smith, Avotcja and Val Serrant and more! The $25 donation includes a pass for one other evening in the festival at either venue.
Note: no shows at Shotwell Thursday, January 10 and Sunday January 13. More shows continue on Saturday, January 12 plus Thursdays through Sundays, January 17-27, 2008. For details and full schedules go to www.ftloose.org.
