Centerstage Theatre Company presents Steel Magnolias
Steel Magnolias tells the story of six Southern women and their friendships. They gather to gossip and talk about life at Truvy's Beauty Shop. The play is written by Robert Harling and inspired hit film starring Dolly Parton, Sally Field, Julia Roberts and Shirley McLaine and a remake with Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott and Alfre Woodard.
In addition, Steel Magnolias will be the official launch of Centerstage Theatre Company in Lebanon, Tenn. Brady Quisberg and Mitchell Vantrease are the co-artistic directors.
The Steel Magnolias cast features Melanie Smego (M'Lynn), Samantha Brannoch (Shelby), Janice Williamson (Clairee), Kay Thompson (Ouisier), Denise Turner (Truvy) and Megan Bartlett (Annelle).
