OPC-Attention Deficit Disorder: A General Overview
Attention Deficit Disorder is a common co-occurring diagnosis in the Child and Adolescent population as well as often present and under identified in the Adult population. It is important for clinicians to have working knowledge of the impacts of co-occurring ADHD on treatment, progress and prognosis as the need to assure appropriate differential diagnoses are considered in the presence of ADHD.
During this training, you will improve your basic understanding of the current diagnostic categories of treatments for ADHD in the adult and child population. Also improve their knowledge of how ADHD impacts across the life cycle & understanding of how ADHD impacts the Medicaid population in terms of outcome. Leading the presentation will be Ranota T. Hall, MD, D.F.A.P.A. Employees may attend the training in-person at the Corporate office OR participate remotely via TeleCONNECT. The session will be concurrently streamed live at each of our Community Offices. Because of the nature of this training, all clinically-oriented employees (Clinical Operations, Community Programs, Community Partners, Medical, Network and Quality Management) are encouraged to attend. Arriving late or leaving early will result in the forfeiture of continuing education training credits.
