Cove PTO Comedy Night with Paul D'Angelo, Christine Hurley, Jeff Koen, Dave Rattigan
The public is invited as Paul D'Angelo and Christine Hurley head up an all-star cast for the third annual fund-raising comedy night for the Cove Elementary School PTO at the Vittori-Rocci Post, 143 Brimbal Avenue, Beverly, also featuring Beverly's own Jeff Koen and host Dave Rattigan. D'Angelo has appeared on Showtime and was named Boston magazine's "Best of Boston" comedian so many times the magazine stopped naming a winner in that category. Bawdy and hilarious, Hurley made her standup debut in the Nickelodeon "Funniest Mom in America" contest, made it all the way to the finals, and has been setting with Boston comedy world on its ear ever since. Koen has worked in theaters around New England and made his make as an actor, most recently for the award-winning animated web cartoon, The Man Servants. Rattigan, returning as host, has had his material played on XM-Sirius Radio, Nickmom.com, and ULive.com. Tickets are $30, available on-line and at CovePTO@gmail.com. Doors open at 7 for 8 p.m. show.
