TPR Think Science: Human Resilience
What does it take to survive in the face of adversity? What about sickness? A major disaster? Why do some people seem stronger than others? At TPRs Think Science: Human Resilience, well hear stories about people who have been through traumatic events, and turn to a local researcher to learn a little bit about what makes it possible for humans to bounce back.
Think Science: Human Resilience Friday, May 27, 2016 Location: Pearl Studio 200 East Grayson Street San Antonio, TX 78215
Free parking available on-site.
Panelists include Marian Sokol, Ph.D., MPH, Executive Director of the Childrens Bereavement Center of Texas in San Antonio and Alan L. Peterson, PhD, ABPP, a board certified clinical health psychologist, Professor, and Chief of the Division of Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
