Martin Aylward
This day will look at the challenges of everyday life as the theatre of transformational practice, exploring how our work and relationships can be fertile ground for insight, and seeing how we can cultivate a meditative life which genuinely supports and is supported by the full catastrophe of everyday living.
Martin Aylward began meditation practice aged 19, spending 4 years living in Asian monasteries and with Himalayan hermits before founding his own meditation centre in Southern France, MoulindeChaves.org. Martin has taught meditation internationally for the last 15 years at some of the worlds most respected meditation centres. His teaching emphasises powerful and creative ways to integrate the depth and liberating potential of dharma practice into the complexities of everyday life. As well as his Buddhist practice of 25 years, Martin has also been influenced by The Diamond Approach of AH Almaas, in which he has been a student for 10 years. Martin also leads yearlong teacher trainings as co-director of The Mindfulness Institute, USA and is the founding teacher of WorldwideInsight.org.
