Desperately Seeking

CIC takes on the Chicago Reader again. After a successful run in 2010, Desperately Seeking is back and looking for love in all the wrong pages. In each performance the actors turn to one of their favorite newspapers to inspire a completely original improv show based on a personals ad. In Desperately Seeking the performers randomly select a personals ad from the Chicago Reader's Matches section and explore what that person's world would look like.

Directed by Rainbow Deli performer and iO veteran Jorin Garguilo (Revolver, Felt, Dinner Bell) and created by CIC's Artistic Director Farrell Walsh, Desperately Seeking searches for the unique and the universal in each personals ad. Performed by CIC veteran improvisers, this show will surely make you laugh out loud as the actors improvise an ordinary person's life and quest for love.
