We start things off in the colorful and exotic jungle of the Indian subcontinent with the creative retelling of the classic Rudyard Kipling tale, The Jungle Book, adapted by Tracey Power. Mowgli, the man cub, is orphaned and raised by wolves. As he grows, he makes many friends, like Baloo, the lovable bear, and Bagheera, the wise black panther. They teach Mowgli the Laws of the Jungle and try to prepare him for the dangers in the jungle, like the monkeys and Kaa, the snake. Mowgli also makes a powerful enemy in Shere Kahn, the tiger, who wants the boy out of the jungle at any cost. Told with percussion and puppetry for all ages.
