Rich Marotta, The Comedian Who Does Magic makes his Parlor of Mystery debut on May 22. Rich is a nationally known headlining comedian who just so happens to do mind-blowing magic that keeps audiences scratching their heads while they laugh themselves silly. Rich has appeared on numerous television shows, lectured on magic to his fellow magicians in all 50 states and over 20 countries. You can find his comedy and magic effects for sale in every magic shop in the country, well the good ones, that is.
Sharing the stage with Rich is Long Island magician Mr. Warren aka Warren Bausert. Bausert is a funny magician who has been performing magic for decades. Bausert performs classic magic peppered with comedy that is guaranteed to amaze and tickle the funny bone.
Close up magician Wayne Haarhaus, another Long Island favorite, will perform close-up magic during intermission. Wayne is an accomplished sleight of hand artist and mentalist.
The show will be hosted by Joe Silkie recently back from lecturing at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles where he shared magic secrets with some of the greats of magic.
The Parlor of Mystery's home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. It's the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is small black box theatre with comfortable tiered seating for 45.
The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 315 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theatre classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
All tickets are $15.
Tickets are available at the door, however space is limited.
