MMF Symphony Orchestra
The MMF Symphony Orchestra opens the symphonic season with Mahlers enigmatic Symphony No. 6 in A minor. Nicknamed the tragische or tragic symphony, Mahlers work is described as perhaps the first nihilist work in the history of music. Symphony No. 6 is an exciting exploration of contrasts and emotions, a challenging undertaking for this years symphonic debut.
