Comic DeAnne Smith Live! Ben. Portland Pride!
Ohhhhh Kittens!
I hope you have your dancing happypants on, because the whimsical, adorable, hilarious, adorable (did I say that twice?), smart-as-hell DeAnne Smith is coming back to Portland for Pride!
This is going to be a one-of-a-kind event with special guests announced as we get closer!
DeAnne Smith has performed all over the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Iceland Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs Montreal and Chicago to name a few. Shes also been on TV in four countries, including on Last Comic Standing NBC, The Late Late Show on CBS, Canadas The Comedy Network and CBC, Australias Channel 10 and ABC, and UKs Sky TV.
The Montreal Gazette says DeAnne is fresh, cuttingone of the finest wits in the country. The UKs Telegraph calls her Smart. Very funny. Effortless charm lets her get away with murder. Shes never actually murdered anyone.
With Belinda Carroll: Nurtured by a mother who told everyone she was from "the South", to avoid admitting she was from a shack in Appalachia; Belinda Carroll has been openly talking about the secret trashier side of life, being a queerdo, hypocrisy, and Republicans all over the country. She has written for Huffpost, Cracked.Com, Portland Mercury, appeared on Portlandia, Grimm, MTV and performed with Julie Goldman, ANT, Ron Funches. Currently a WW's Best of Portland Nominee!
Hosted by: Whitney Streed
Whitney Streed is a comedian because if she was not, her incessant punning would have no artistic or monetary value whatsoever. Whitney performs stand-up comedy all around the Pacific Northwest and has featured for Maria Bamford, Rob Delaney, Jackie Kashian, and other rad folks. Festival appearances include Seattle Sketchfest, All Jane No Dick in Portland, and the Salt Lake City Comedy Carnivale, as well as Portlands Bridgetown Comedy Festival both as a performer and, since 2012, a producer. Whitney hosts and produces shows all over Portland and can seen playing a feminist and potential home-buyer on three seasons of IFCs hit show Portlandia.
