CHRISTMAS ON MARS by Harry Kondoleon
Harry Kondoleon's comedy, first produced in New York City in 1983 by Playwright's Horizon in association with The New York Theater Workshop.
Its inhabitants - who come to share the apartment but never furnish it -could be the characters of Neil Simon's ''Barefoot in the Park'' as reinvented by the editors of Interview magazine. Bruno (Colby Ryan) is a narcissistic model and actor who stars in ads for cologne. Audrey (Nicole Colina Duignan), a commercial casting director, is bearing Bruno's child but may not want to marry him. The hysterical Nissim (Drew Paramore) - Hebraically named, - but not Jewish -is a former flight attendant who's had an unrequited homosexual crush on Bruno for 10 years. Ingrid (Camille Marshall) is Audrey's rich mother, who returns to make amends to the daughter she abandoned 20 years earlier....
