STRINGS and STONES
Artistic Director Paula Frasz of DanszLoop Chicago pairs wiith New York choreographer Brian Carey Chung to present an evening of dance. Frasz's earthy, humanistic approach to dance contrasts with Chung's highly linear, stylized contemporary ballet aesthetic. Premiers eatured on the program, Freida, a character study of Mexican artist Frieda Kahloe by Frasz, performed in part by the Chicago Aerial Dance Company. Chung and his New York-based company present one premier and several works from repertoire.
